Allison Duemmel is an illustrator and designer from Grove City, Ohio. Her approach originates from vintage cartoons, animals, and people she meets. She spends as much time as possible at nature parks and campgrounds walking her dachshund, Eckrich. During these sojourns Allison finds the most inspiration for her drawings and projects. These interests—cartoons, animals, plants, nature—are often represented in many of her pieces.
She is constantly creating lovable and entertaining characters, and desires that children everywhere will be delighted upon seeing her friendly creations.
Allison says, “It is my wish that my drawings appeal to children young and old, and that I can motivate children not only to draw, but to discover their own inherent talents and to share them with others.” Allison also wants her drawings and characters to have the ability to provide cheer for children while they are going through rough patches in their lives. It is her sincere desire that all children find happiness, love, and friendship through her characters and stories.
